Explore the rich breadth of Jewish literature through the lens of the Jewish short story and the Jewish texts that have inspired them. These are not your kids’ short stories, nor are they the folk tales of the old country. These are stories that bring our ancient traditions and values into the modern world enabling us to confront the things that make us both uncomfortable about our tradition and proud of it. When paired with traditional texts and commentary, they take on a completely different meaning. The stories may be short but their impact is long lasting.
